   Senior Health Lectures

On the third Wednesday of the month you can find an informative health lecture at the Main Library in the Community Room beginning at 10:30am. The Senior Health lecture series is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and Friends of the Library. You can get a list of lectures here.

   Volunteer Opportunities

  • Deliver books to the homebound

  • Record books for the blind

  • Learn to read to preschoolers

  • Work with the Archives or Local History group

We offer a variety of services and materials for older adults:

  • Books in larger print size, called Large Type

  • Audio books on CD or on tape

  • Health and travel information

  • Reading aides, including an optical magnifyer and a Kurzwiel reader, which is a machine that can read a book to you.
