   Be A Tutor

It's easy to become a Project READ volunteer tutor! To express your interest in our upcoming tutor training program call us at 650.780.7077. More about Project Read

   Read to Children

Join the Traveling Storytime and read to preschoolers each week at a Redwood City preschool or home day care. Only 30 minutes a week will make a huge difference in a child's life. To sign up, or for more information, contact the Traveling Storytime at 650.780.7014, or e-mail them.

   Join The Friends

Help staff the Friends’ book store in the main library or work on Friends’ book sales. Call 780-7032 to get more information about volunteer opportunities. To join the Friends send your name, address, telephone number, and a check for $10.00:

   Community Service For Teens

For 6th – 12th grade. Make the Library more your own by volunteering. Help select library materials for young adults or assist with planning library programs. Community service is available January – July. For more information, e-mail us.
