   Placing A Hold

Placing a hold allows you request an item. If there is a wait, your hold secures you a place in the queue. When the item becomes available, your item will be shipped in approximately 1-5 days, and you will be notified automatically. Here's how to do it using our online catalog:

• Search for an item by title, author, or keyword; You will receive a list of results.
• Click until you find the item that best matched your search.
• Click the "Request" button from the grey buttons above the search bar.
• Enter your library card number, without spaces, and also the last four digits of your telephone number--that's your PIN.
• Select the library location where you'd like to pick up your item.
• Click the "Submit" button on the bottom of the page - no notes or change of date needed.

   Check Your Library Account

Check due dates, check the status of holds and pending fines, and verify your contact information using the online catalog:

• Click on "Your Library Account" tab from the yellow tabs at the top.
• Enter your library card number, without spaces, and also the last four digits of your telephone number--that's your PIN; Click "Submit".
• Click the links to Modify Your Pin, Modify Personal Info, or see what items you have checked out, on hold or fines you may have accumulated.
